Initiative on Health, Spirituality, and Religion: March 2025 - Forgiveness Champion Church Leader
Church leaders are invited to apply to become a Forgiveness Champion and join the Human Flourishing Program’s Church Leader Forgiveness Group. This group is part of a new forgiveness promotion initiative at the Human Flourishing Program.
This group will meet 7 times on Zoom from May through September 2025. Each meeting will be 1.5 hours and will require 1-2 hours of preparation work. Over the course of the program, Champions will work through the REACH Forgiveness Workbook Adapted for Churches, provide feedback on the materials, and help to create and give feedback on resources for future Forgiveness Campaigns in Churches.
We are seeking to work with a theologically, politically, culturally, and geographically diverse group of participants. Preference will be given to church leaders who would be interested in hosting Forgiveness Groups at their churches and/or applying for funding to host a Forgiveness Campaign at their church in Lent 2026. We are offering a $1000 honorarium to individuals who are able to participate in the full program.
Application is due March 31.
